“Between resilience, heritage, and innovation” is a multi-media exhibition showcasing traditional techniques and handicraft as well as modern designers working on natural, sustainable, and climate-friendly fashion in Sri Lanka. The exhibition highlights the stories of artisans and designers working on sustainable fashion, from traditional techniques such as beeralu, dumbara,handloom, and batik to waste-based materials, upcycling, and innovative natural dyes. The pieces shown are unique creations at the cutting edge of fashion,brought to The Stage Gallery through a partnership between designers,communities, the EthicalX Climate & Innovation Hub, and CLIMAFUGE.
