Climate 2.0 dialogues are informal dialogue under SLYCAN Trust’s ClimaComms initiative, designed to foster holistic discussions on pressing environmental and climate-related topics. By bringing together diverse individuals across various fields, these dialogues aim to cultivate an inclusive, collaborative, and comprehensive space to explore our shared future.
The inaugural Climate 2.0 in Maldives is organised in the lead-up to COP30 to discuss the challenges, gaps, and opportunities in integrating technology and entrepreneurship in the context of Maldives towards long-term climate resilience. Participants will share diverse approaches and lived experiences to better understand the role of technology (including innovative and emerging technologies such as AI) in response to climate change. The target audience includes the private sector, (M)SMEs and other key stakeholders that work in the area of climate resilience in Maldives.
