Climate 2.0 is a series of informal conversations under the ClimaComms initiative by SLYCAN Trust, designed to foster holistic discussions on pressing environmental topics. By bringing together diverse individuals, from those deeply engaged in climate action to professionals across various fields, it aims to cultivate a collaborative approach to tackling climate challenges and ensure a more inclusive and comprehensive dialogue on our shared future.
This iteration of Climate 2.0 held in parallel to SB62 at SLYCAN Trust's Climate Event Hub aims to bring together youth, early career climate change professionals and people with an interest in food systems and agriculture, to explore diverse approaches in building climate-friendly food systems, with a focus on resilience, sustainability, and equity across different regional contexts. Participants will share their approaches and lived experiences from different regions to better understand how communities are transforming food systems in response to climate change.
