Different forms of human mobility are increasingly connected to the impacts of climate change. As the nature of these connections is complex and multi-faceted, SLYCAN Trust in collaboration with relevant entities is developing case studies to illustrate, highlight, and enhance the understanding of migration, disaster displacement, and planned relocation in the context of climate change.
Building on our work on the global level, especially around the UNFCCC process, and our existing case studies (please see below), SLYCAN Trust is organising a multi-stakeholder gathering to launch the activities related to this case study development and gather inputs from stakeholders.
