Launch of partnership with the Government of Niger and Launch of EthicalX: Climate & Innovation Hub

Introduction

Climate change increasingly impacts communities, countries, and ecosystems, leading to serious loss and damage as well as changing patterns of human mobility. To enhance climate action and contribute to building long-term resilience, SLYCAN Trust has signed a partnership agreement with the Government of Niger to collaborate on a range of activities including evidence generation on loss and damage, human mobility, cultural loss, resilience-building, and youth engagement. The event will also launch the EthicalX: Climate & Innovation Hub in Niger, which is established to support and enhance ethical, sustainable, and climate-friendly entrepreneurship in the country.

This workshop is organized by SLYCAN Trust and its representatives in Niger, Jeunes Volontaires pour l’Environnement du Niger (JVE-Niger) and Réseau de la Jeunesse Nigérienne sur le Changement Climatique (RJNCC)
