SLYCAN Trust with 19 Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) submitted a letter of support to the Green Climate Fund Board (GCF) to support Sri Lanka’s proposal on adaptation ahead of the 13th Board Meeting of the GCF. The CSOs endorsed the proposal, and highlighted the need for the implementation of the activities in Sri Lanka to address impacts of climate change in the country. The letter was submitted as a response to the Independent Technical Advisory Panel (iTAP) comments which were recommending for the proposal not to be approved.
