National Adaptation Plans play a critical role in building climate-resilience and managing climate-related risks at the local and national level, which is closely linked to livelihoods and economic development and diversification. The integration of entrepreneurship support and entrepreneurial element into all stages of the NAP process can support vulnerable groups and communities, including women, youth, and migrants, to build holistic climate resilience. The session aims to present a framework for integrating entrepreneurship into NAPs and share country experiences, good practices, and lessons learned on gender-responsive and inclusive risk management through entrepreneurship in NAPs, as well as to facilitate partnerships and multi-stakeholder engagement adaptation and long-term resilience-building for all.
